Feelings

I wish I could talk to someone who knows me best about what I am feeling.  I can't though.  Since that person isn't around anymore and it sucks.  I  miss them.

I have been lacking on the posting front. However, their will be three new posts coming relativity soon. The first will be about "Noises Off", second will be on "Cats" and the third will be on "Animal Farm" Till then I bid you adieu.

SWEENEY TODD AT LAST!!!

I finally saw Sweeney Todd!! You see I am named after the character Johanna in the show. So I figured that I should do the show its justice and see it live first instead of watching one of the movies. I am so glad I did! When the show started I couldn't look away even though there were times that I wanted to. At intermission I called one of my friends Edwin and just raved about the show. See Edwin loves Sweeney Todd! So he was as excited as I was. It was love at first number as it usually is in theatre. If i could see it again I would RIGHT NOW! It has become an obsession and my new favorite show. I am glad that my parents had some sense to pick a so that I would eventually fall in love with than one that I would hate. I am still on my Sweeney Todd high! No to go watch the movies and listen to the Soundtrack!!

It is that time again.

It is Tech week for my dad's show Sugar and while I am not involved (yet) I cannot help remembering when I did Sugar in my freshman year of high school. It was seven years ago and my first show with Mo Dutterer. I was in the girls chorus and I had a blast. In fact I was hooked on preforming community theatre. Yet, I haven't performed since my senior year of high school. However I find it slightly amusing that seven years later this show is being done and i am not involved. I know i will go see it. I know I will be put to work, but for some reason that just makes me miss preforming even more. Two years without preforming is like a lifetime for me. However i just haven't found a show i've wanted to do or when i have found a show i haven't had the time. So I am offically making a goal for myself. I will do a show in the winter. I know Noises Off is going up with Mo's company so I might as well audition for it. And if I don't make it Oh well there is always schools show or summer theatre or another musical.

Summer Nights

So it is summer and there is absolutely no theatre productions playing. Sure their are the dinner theaters and Broadway but I am just a college student I don't have 50 or a 100 dollars or even more to go see a show. The hard part of this is that I am in need of seeing something. I just wish community theatre did more than just one thing during the summer. Ahh I guess I'll just have to wait till school starts again. Then I will be able to go see all the theatre I want provided I don't run out of money.
